A Case of You

Anyone who knows me… basically knows that I have an undying devotion to Tori Amos. Tori has this almost magical way with the piano, making her by far the most talented and creative pianist I have EVER heard in my life. The first time I ever heard Tori Amos was merely accidental… and she has been an addiction for me ever since. I have spent the last 12 years of my life acquiring everything she has ever written or covered or put out ( and I do own just about everything), even down to her PRE solo days, when she was in a band called “Y Kant Tori Read”… which is a RARE piece to own and I own it on VINYL! Got it for a pricey fee… but cheaper then what it’s really worth. You know what they say “You can’t put a price on love”.

You can probably expect that this will be FAR from the last time I speak of her.

Tonight, I give you a little piece, a tear-jerker originally written by singer/song writer Joni Mitchell (another secret love of mine) off her “Blue” album released in 1971 on WB. Joni’s version maybe priceless and perpetual. But as you will hear… Tori rendition is imminent to say the least!

Drink it in… A Case of You!

  1. dkpresents Says:

Her cover of The Beatles ‘Happiness Is A Warm Gun’ is friggin brilliant!

  2. you are kidding about that either… as I said… I have JUST ABOUT everything she has EVER DONE…outside of her days before she changed her name TO Tori Amos… She’s brilliant. To think that some people are CLOSE minded enough to find her boring and depressing!!!! People can be so fickle!

  3. **aren’t kidding**

  4. I saw her a few years back and the compound of emotion had me reduced to tears.
